The Olde Liberty Fiber Festival of Bedford, Virginia is a celebration of the fiber arts. We embrace and enjoy spinning, knitting, weaving, felting and all things fiber-related.
The 2019 festival date is Saturday, September 14. If you are interested in being a vendor, please download a copy of our application on the "Vendors" page.
Our mission is simple: serve, celebrate and educate. In 2018, we partnered with both Project Linus and From the Heart to create handmade goods for people in need.
We are non-profit. Past recipients of our proceeds have been Warm Heads/Warm Hearts (The Pine Ridge Indian School of South Dakota), the Future Farmers of America (FFA), Bedford Hospice, the Lions Club and several other organizations and worthy causes.
Past educators have included the reknowned knitters, Anne McCauley and Margaret Radcliffe.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Dana.
Admission is $5.00 and children under 12 are free.

Our Festival Belle of 2019
She fiercely loved knitting, spinning and all things fiber.
She was never afraid to try something new and to share her knowledge. She was remarkably generous, joyful and always gave the best hugs. She was our friend and our sister.
